At The Gift High School, we provide a holistic education that fosters academic excellence, moral integrity and leadership. Our goal is to equip students with knowledge, confidence and critical thinking skills to thrive in a dynamic world.

Beyond academics, students have the opportunity to participate in various extracurricular activities that enhance their skills and interests. Our vibrant school clubs include the Jet Club, Literary and Debating Society, Homemakers Club and Farmers Club. Additionally, we offer vocational courses such as Fashion and Design, Creative Arts and Interior Design, Business & Entrepreneurship Hub and Tech & Digital Skills Lab, equipping students with practical skills for future careers.

The high school is structured into two sections:

 

Junior Secondary School (J.S.S. 1-3)

The Junior Secondary School (JSS) serves as the foundation for academic excellence and personal growth. Students engage in a diverse curriculum designed to enhance literacy, numeracy, creativity and problem-solving abilities. Emphasis is placed on developing strong study habits, self-discipline and a passion for lifelong learning. Subjects include core sciences, mathematics, humanities, creative arts and technology. At the end of J.S.S 3, students sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to qualify for Senior Secondary School.

 

Senior Secondary School (S.S.S. 1-3)

Here, the students choose a specialized academic path based on their interests and career aspirations:

  • Science Department – Covers subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Technical Drawing, preparing students for careers in medicine, engineering and technology.

  • Humanities Department – Focuses on subjects such as Literature, Government, History and Fine Arts, equipping students for careers in law, media and the humanities.

  • Commercial Department – Includes Economics, Accounting, Commerce and Business Studies, providing a strong foundation for entrepreneurship and finance-related careers.
